"... The electricity and water supply line has been disrupted since last Saturday due to artillery shelling, and the maintenance crew has been prevented by the Rapid Support militia and the army militia. I have obtained solar energy to charge the phone, the situation has become unbearable, and going out to the states exposes me to arrest, but we will take [REDACTED] to a safe place without meeting, the bases of the regular forces, bastards..."

Contact with our comrades from the Sudanese Anarchist Gathering in Khartoum has been sporadic these past few months.
War is hell. The lack of prefiguration and network infrastructure has mean that mutual aid, not just from the anarchists but from state actors and NGOs also has been lacking. What little solidarity they might offer the people of Sudan has been stymied by borders and governmental interests. Pockets of material aid sit in accounts waiting on the logistics to once again become viable.

The comrades from the Anarkismo network have had better luck here with thier anarchist contacts in the North of Sudan, as they have launched a fund to help extract comrades and seemingly get material aid into Sudan, here is theiur statement of support and call out for donation.

It All Goes or It All Stays The Same | Spindrift

It is difficult to get a full view of a monster from up close. The connection between the claws and teeth and hooves and tail are obscured by the sheer immensity of the thing. All we can observe are the discrete violences waged by the various pieces that make up the monster. But the monster is so much more than a series of discreet phenomena.

Union Versus Menegement - Joseph Edwards | Theory and Analysis

The reason why I think trade-union representation should do these things is because basically a union is a political organization, and in truth and in fact Africans and other Black people in these times cannot afford the luxury of any special organization for any special purpose.

Anarchism and the Labor Struggle Today | Spindrift

When I first started my journey as an anarchist, I was incredibly privileged in both my environment and upbringing. I had grown up in a very upper-middle class suburb, neither knowing economic struggle nor of want when it came to my basic needs. I was, at that point in my life, a young 20 year […]
